Conosur Logistic SpA, a renowned stevedoring and unloading agent at the port of Iquique, has successfully completed a new milestone in its operations. The company completed the second consecutive unloading of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) containers at the public terminal of the Port Company of Iquique (EPI), reaffirming its commitment to innovation and the efficient handling of specialized cargo. 

During the months of December 2024 and January 2025, Conosur managed the unloading of 101 and 100 units respectively, implementing a precise operational plan that involved the active participation of its Operations Manager, Head of Operations and the SITRAMAPORT port workers’ union team. This operational success was possible thanks to the investment in specialized resources, adequate infrastructure and the technical experience of the team, positioning the port of Iquique as a strategic point for the handling of technological cargo.

Furthermore, in September and November 2024, Conosur Logistic SpA reinforced its reputation by leading the unloading of more than 3,000 units of large-sized pipes destined for desalination projects in the mining sector. These large-scale operations demonstrate the scope and versatility of the services offered by the company, consolidating its essential role in the development of the region and the promotion of key sectors such as mining and energy technology.
